I used 1/2 cup of Wheat DME and 16 oz. I have two questions: I usually get in the 80s as far as inefficiency goes, but the recipe is calculated for 75%. Use hallertau/tettanger hops (which ever one you like more) and wlp 300 and ferment around 65 degrees or lower. Dunkelweizen is often hazy, ranging in color from light copper to a dark mahogany-brown, and topped with a large, dense, creamy off-white head. Step it up to a quart if you are going to split it between two 5 gallon fermenters for a 10 gallon batch like I do. Arm in Beer NEIPA - had to put arm in fermenter, this should be interesting. My first batch of this has been bubbling away happily in my water heater closet since Sunday evening.
